Root 2 Leaf offers respite without strings attached. Our door is open to anyone, at any stage of cancer. We welcome & encourage the entire support system to take a moment to refill their cup at our Sanctuary. EVERYONE deserves a break!
Cancer never leaves my mind. . .
Families are faced with a MOUNTAIN of living expenses, including medical bills. The home is a constant reminder of the reality of the bills, treatments, & medical appointments. The home can be a bittersweet reminder of life before cancer. Root 2 Leaf provides EVERYONE a pause from the diagnosis.
I have no control. . .
When people face cancer, everyday stressors seem heavier. Emotions become more intense. Fear, anger, and the haunting unknowns of tomorrow engulf EVERYONE associated with the cancer. Root 2 Leaf Sanctuary will provide a moment of peace for everyone, away from outside distractions.
I cannot afford to travel. . .
Air travel can become difficult for the cancer patient due to their physical limitations and time away from doctor appointments. Families often cannot afford the travel expenses. Even taking time off work for a break can be unrealistic. Root 2 Leaf Sanctuary is the only respite home drivable within the tri-state area, allowing for a quick break.
