The Meaning Behind The Name

Root 2 Leaf honors grief, love, memory, and growth all at once.  The Root 2 Leaf Sanctuary will give each family member a moment in time to create more memories, to grow new leaves for tomorrow. 

Similar to the physical evolution of a tree, our lives are also a metamorphosis of change.  Families are built upon the generational roots planted by those who come before us.  Those we love become embedded in our root system, the foundation of our human body.  Our roots are nourished, and over time, they cultivate to form leaves and new branches.  

People impacted by cancer will inevitably be transformed, creating new branches and leaves during their cancer journey.  The tree system that lies within us is forever altered for all impacted by cancer. Root 2 Leaf gives each family member time to replenish their tree and continue growing, even though life may seem stagnant with the diagnosis of cancer.  Root 2 Leaf gives each family nourishment and hope for tomorrow.
